Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 11:15 am–11:15 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Fremont is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Fremont is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We came across this place because I was homesick and wanted good Chinese food. This place came up as a highly rated Chinese restaurant so we decided to give it a try. Now we are addicted and drive 30+mins to come here at least once a month to check out their monthly specials! Our Faves: Original Fried Chicken (with a sweet glaze like San Tung’s), Mongolian Beef, Country Style Pork, and Chow Fun! Pros: Big portions, lots of variety, great value and very tasty Chinese food! The cold case is very unique and has a large offering. Customer service is also great. Shout out to SiSi for helping us tonight! Thank you and we’ll be back again and again! Cons: It’s kinda far but that’s our problem! Hopefully they will continue to expand and come to our neighborhood!

I came here on a Saturday night and it was a very new experience to me. The restaurant sits in a shopping center with 99 Ranch so this center can get really busy making parking difficult. This is a no frills fast dinner service restaurant. Ordering and checkout is done via virtual waiter so be prepared to flag someone down if you need attention. A lot of the foods here are braised or soup based so they came out very quick as they must have already prepared the dishes beforehand. Our waiter deserves an award for his service level, his counterpart, not so much. We ordered a few dishes, braised pork neck, eggplant tofu, and spicy pork ears. The only dish I wasnt fond of was the pig ears as the flavors weren't as strong as the other dishes. I hope I can convince some friends to join us next time so we can try their larger family sized braised dishes. If you like authentic Chinese dishes or want to try I'd recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat. The biggest gripe for me came to when we were paying our check. We payed cash and but one of the ladies working there came and took the tray and never bothered coming back with our change. Given we did include the tip in our cash payment (we

Great food. Super high quality and amazing flavor. Family style eating. Loved the beef roll in scallion pancake and the lamb bone broth hot pot. Traditional Chinese food but they also have “American style Chinese food.” Disclaimer: You order via the QR code and they then bring the food out to you. Everything is very hands off, no fuss no muss. They truly focus on the food and elevate your company :)

Good value for the amount at about $20 per pax. Tasted fresh & not overly sweeten or salty. Rather thirsty after an hour after dinner. Still a good meal for dinner. Overall 7/10. Best dish is the guo tei or pot stickers; the spiced brown sauce made it 10/10. A strong repeat for our group of 4. Unanimous decision. Why? Super fast service in food delivery. Faster than McDonalds 10/10. Good attentive service staff 7/10. Complimentary chilled water. Got seated real fast like within a minute despite it was crowded 10/10. Beer was fruity nice 9/10. Food ingredients were all fresh 9/10. And well prepared 8/10. Above average presentation at 8/10. Repeat factor 4/5. 2026 March 29th

We visited Home Eat in Fremont during winter break and had a solid dine‑in experience. We ordered: • Beef Wrap ($9.75) • Shrimp & Ham Fried Rice ($12.75) • Chicken Noodle Soup ($13.75) • Secret Lamb Wok ($18.75) All dishes came out quickly, served hot, and portions were generous for the price. One detail we really appreciated was the table setup: extra bowls, plates, and utensils were already placed on the table, so we didn’t need to call the server repeatedly. The dining space is large, easy to move around, and works well for groups or families. They didn’t give us a physical menu — only a QR code to order — but we noticed another table had a printed menu. Personally, I prefer having the menu, since it’s easier to browse. We’ll definitely return if we’re in Fremont, CA again.
